Flamenco

Music professor Christina Zanfagna will be joined by renowned flamenco dancer, Melissa Cruz, and her ensemble. The dynamic art form of flamenco has a long and rich history, from its roots in Rajasthan, India to the  “gypsy” trails through North Africa, Asia, and Europe. Often referred to as the "blues" of Spain, the performance will feature live flamenco cante (singing), toque (guitar), and baile (dance).
